Quasi Association Aims to Build Confidence in Professional Mortgage Industry

The National Association of Mortgage Professionals (NAMP) launched on Tuesday, June 26, to raise consumer confidence in the mortgage and lending professions, but it’s not a nonprofit organization. As a corporate entity, CEO and founder Michael Lefevre said he can implement change quicker because it bypasses time-consuming committee meetings nonprofit face. The incorporation avenue has been taken by other organizations, such as the National Collision Industry Alliance in June 2007.
